Today I wanted to bring you something different. The last couple of winters we didn't get much snow in New England, so if you live in a place where it doesn't snow, you can get a little taste of what a traditional winter is like here. When it snows it gets dark and gloomy and the sky is usually very white. It's hard to describe but there's a distinct difference between a rainy cloudy day and a snow cloudy day. New Englanders are able to tell right away if it's going to star snowing.
Â
This was one of my favorite days this winter! We got to spend a few hours outside and it was magical. It was still snowing when we decided to go outside! I am so glad we did, because it got dark out so early that day. The snow was so deep, almost to our knees! I am not a huge fan of the cold weather, but when it snows this much I truly enjoy living in New England.
Â
There's nothing better than being able to stay home with the living room curtains open and seeing the snow fall. It's one of my favorite things. Oliver also loves to go to the window and look outside. He is so funny in the snow. He won't go unless we do, but if we do he goes crazy! He turns into a mad dog and has the best time ever!
